What is your Personal Unique Selling Proposition ?
Unique Selling Proposition or personal branding or a value-added statement, the USP is a succinct, one-sentence description of who you are, your biggest strength and the major benefit that a company will derive from this strength.
During the interview, the Interview Panelist may question as”” why we should Hire You”” or “”what is the value add for the organization.” ”Before answering think and focus on one or two qualities you possess that might be unique, or more difficult to find in other interviewees. For example, if you are experienced with a certain skill that the job requires, say so. This is your chance to tell the interviewer why you would be an invaluable employee.
E.g. “”I have 09 years of relevant experience in the latest ABC skills, I had innovated an application which made a savings of over XXXX lakhs/ Million for (employer's name) or saved duplication of task or time saved or dependency on number of resources were reduced. Or the cost of recruitment was reduced by 30% as I automated the process etc. It can be anything specific to your strength that can be considered as an asset to the organization. Let the Interviewer listen to your every word, use flow chart to explain if possible, remember a creative or innovative mind is better than dead or fixed asset to the organization.
To prepare your personal USP- focus on : Have you received any national, regional and/or local awards and/or have you been recognized for your professional service, accomplishments and/or contributions to your industry? Is there anything else that makes you truly remarkable, recognizable, unique and/or different in your business worth mentioning. Use your personal USP effectively within the first ten minutes of the Interview.
Good Luck.

Rewind a step back, and you will find that you were not there to explain your USP in person. What TALKED FOR YOU is the Resume,CV,or Auctor Vitae. The interview room door was opened for you because you sold your USP BEFORE even you reached there. Then, you get to DELIVER THE KNOCKOUT USP-unch. Wanted to highlight the importance of your AV
