This name can be changed at any time and is not unique to your account. On the other hand, the Username is the unique name that identifies your account and appears in your Instagram URL (@username). This name is also used in your Instagram handle (@username) and is what people use to search for and tag you on the platform.

Your Profile Name, on the other hand, can be up to 150 characters long and can contain spaces and special characters.

While you can change both your Profile Name and Username its not ideal as it can lead to confusion amongst your followers
