Madden NFL 24 is available already for Deluxe edition owners, but everyone else can start playing tomorrow, August 18, on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Regardless of which platform you pick, there are a couple of fantastic preorder offers that you can still grab. Walmart is offering free $20 PSN/Xbox Store gift cards with the purchase of Madden 24 on PS5, Xbox, and PS4. Meanwhile, Best Buy has $15 gift cards (for Best Buy) for preorders of either edition on all platforms.
The game is also looking to make some exciting changes to the usual Madden formula. One of the biggest changes is for AI behaviors, with CPU quarterbacks using the Skill-Based Passing system and defensive backs sporting a faster reaction time when the ball is in the air. Madden NFL 24 will also benefit from reworked animations and something known as Sapien technology that will bring more variety to player size and athleticism, and it should result in a more realistic in-game experience. Plus, Madden 24 will support cross-play for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, which is a first for the series. Toss in the usual suite of graphical updates and performance tweaks, and Madden NFL 24 sounds like it could move the franchise forward in some welcome ways.

Madden NFL 24 Preorder Bonuses
All Madden NFL 24 preorders come with the Josh Allen Elite Player Item for Ultimate Team, which makes sense since the Buffalo Bills star. is the Madden 24 cover athlete. You will also get NFL Marble Bills Gear and one "strategy item" for offense and defense for Ultimate Team.

Preorder Madden NFL 24 Standard Edition

Madden NFL 24's standard edition comes with the base game and preorder bonuses. As mentioned, Best Buy is giving away free $15 gift cards and Walmart is offering $20 PSN/Xbox Store codes, so it makes sense to preorder from one of those retailers. You'll find links to Walmart's offer for PS5 and Xbox Series X below, but the PS4 disc is also eligible for this promotion.
Madden 24 sports Dual Entitlement, so you'll gain access to both the PS5 and PS4 or Xbox Series X and Xbox One versions of the game with one purchase, Keep in mind that like other games, there's only one disc version for Xbox that covers both platforms, whereas on PlayStation there are separate PS5 and PS4 discs. The PS4 disc will have a free upgrade to PS5, but obviously the PS5 disc won't work on PS4.
