This game’s Jeopardy! Masters contestants:
Matt Amodio, a quantitative researcher from New York, New York (42-14, 1 points) |
James Holzhauer, the self-described “final boss” of Jeopardy! from Las Vegas, Nevada (47-9, 6 points) |
Yogesh Raut, a cognitive & behavioral scientist from Vancouver, Washington (11-6, 10 points) |
Andy’s Pre-Game Thoughts:
The opening game of tonight’s Masters episode, between Yogesh Raut, James Holzhauer, and Matt Amodio, is for all intents and purposes a dead rubber; James would pretty much have to be completely silent the entire game to have any chance of not advancing, while Yogesh has clinched and Matt is locked into sixth place. That being said: all three of these players are competitors and I am expecting just as much competition as I’ve seen the previous five episodes from these three.
