📚🌟 Just had to share my recent experience! 🌟📚I can't believe how time has flown by as I've been working towards my Chartered Management Institute apprenticeship in leadership with KnowledgeBrief! It's been quite the journey, and I wanted to take a moment to reflect on it.Having not tackled anything this academic for quite some time, diving into my assignment was definitely a challenge. The research, the structure, and the in-depth analysis were all things I hadn't faced in a while. It was a reminder of the value of continuous learning and the importance of pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones.But here's the best part – the reward that comes with the struggle. 🌟 As I worked through my assignment, I felt my knowledge expanding, my analytical skills sharpening, and my understanding of leadership deepening. It's incredible how much growth can occur when we step out of our familiar routines and take on new challenges.I've gained so much more than just academic knowledge during this process. I am thrilled to share that I have successfully completed my Level 7 apprenticeship with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), gaining Chartered Manager status (Distinction). 🌟 This journey has been an incredible learning experience, and I am excited to reflect on the knowledge and skills I’ve gained. 📚Learning and Growth:Throughout this apprenticeship, I delved into various aspects of management, leadership, and organisational development. From strategic planning to effective communication, I honed my abilities to lead and inspire teams. The blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application has been invaluable.🌐Networking and Collaboration:Connecting with fellow apprentices, mentors, and industry professionals has been a highlight. What to do in a B School :When I entered into FMS the last year, it was an overwhelming feeling. Soon I did realise that CAT was not the struggle, the real one starts right here, within the B School. I was bombarded with advice on academics and placement preparation, on selecting dream companies and refining the "Tell Me About Yourself".But after having spent a year here, my personal advice would not be centred around results, but around the process.1️⃣ Forge Lifelong Connections: 🤝 They say your network is your net worth, and boy, is that true! One of my fondest memories was teaming up with a diverse group of fellow students on one corp comp. We laughed, brainstormed, and even navigated through occasional disagreements. And unbelievably, we did reach the International finals 2023 for Cesim even though we weren't the perfect trio.2️⃣ Embrace Failure with Gusto: 📉 At B-school, I learned that failures aren't the end; they're stepping stones to success! I vividly recall my first semester Economics test. I was so afraid of the subject and my lack of knowledge that I didn't even make it to the examination center. I learnt the hard way, that we shouldn't run from our fears, but embrace them. Finally took the test this year and passed!3️⃣ Soak in Diverse Perspectives: 🌍 Our classrooms were a melting pot of cultures and backgrounds. Engaging in debates about global markets with classmates from around the world opened my eyes to fresh perspectives. The memory of a late-night discussion about the impact of UPI transactions made me aware of what we take for granted in my country isn't even available in all our neighbouring countries.4️⃣ Seize Every Opportunity: 💡 Business school is a treasure trove of opportunities – from internships to workshops, there's something for everyone! I vividly remember signing up for the Singing club, which further led me to sing for the Christmas function and a dear prof's farewell as well.🌈 Remember, your business school journey is what you make of it. So, dive into challenges, celebrate successes, and savor every moment. These anecdotes highlight just a fraction of the magic that business school can offer. As #leaders we should be always looking forward to how our businesses and teams are going to develop and grow continuously, and in support of that approach, this famous FDR quote was right on the money!Those of us that lead businesses know that we cannot do everything for everybody however we can establish a framework and culture where all are welcome and everybody can grow. UK apprenticeship schemes in all areas help young people get into our business and then once in, can grow with it. Continuous learning is key.As #saleslaeders we recognise that developing a pipeline of future talent is as crucial to success as developing a pipeline of great customers! Today let's get out there and think through how we can attract more talent by winning great projects and how our customers will view and support these plans, then book 3 customer meetings to discuss the plans with them and see what support they can offer.#fdr #inspirationalleader #positivemindset
